Veterinary Ultrasonography is a diagnostic imaging technique similar to radiography. Many times, X-rays will be used in combination with an ultrasound and other diagnostics as they reveal the size, dimension, and position of the organ. It allows us the ability for real-time visualization and thorough evaluation of certain organs including heart, bladder, spleen, gallbladder, liver, kidneys, and intestines. Ultrasounds are also utilized for diagnosing and monitoring pregnancy.
